LIFESTYLE: NKPR’s IT Lounge Gives Back…Again.
7th September 2012TIFF is in full swing and to kick things off, we popped by the offices of Toronto and New York-based PR agency, NKPR. For the seventh year, NKPR has turned their offices into the IT Lounge, which attracts the likes of media and celebs for gifting and charity.
This year, NKPR created a photo studio featuring legendary photographer Patrick Demarchelier, in a space curated by the Coveteur’s Erin Kleinberg and Stephanie Mark. For each celebrity who poses in the studio, NKPR will donate funds to one of ten charities – one charity for each day of TIFF. NKPR also celebrates 10 years of giving back with their cause-driven online candy shop, Kandy with a K. To top it all off, for each new Twitter follower (@natashankpr) or Facebook fan during the campaign, NKPR will donate towards the causes. During the mayhem of TIFF, one needs to refuel. We did that with some much needed sugar from Kandy with a K and frozen yogurt from Yogurtys. Then relaxed on soy bean and corn bean bag chairs courtesy of the Grain Farmers of Ontario.
What’s TIFF without a bit of glitz? Tweezerman showed off some bling with their Swarovski crystal tweezers. We then popped by Lia Sophia, who bejeweled and bedazzled us with red carpet worthy accessories. Although one might not sport a knitted cowl to TIFF, we couldn’t help but fall in love with this piece.
It’s always a fun time seeing the NKPR team, now it’s back to TIFF and back the grind…
